My Mom was on the phone with Grandma last week, and I overheard her saying, "Ellen's going to Paris this weekend. Yeah, she's travelling a lot lately, flying like a bird."

It's funny how that comes about. Looking back at the last few years, I've been travelling more than I used to. When I was younger, my Mom always did her best to give us at least one "grand" vacation trip during Summer break. Because of this, I grew up seeing different cities, at the same time learning to appreciate the joy of travelling. Not to mention developing an appreciation in terms of what a huge privilege it is to be able to travel so freely and often.

Travelling has, therefore, become a passion of mine, and I always try to save up for a trip or two each year. Thankfully, I've always been extra fond of Europe, so I don't have to save an awful lot of money for plane tickets.

I already kicked off 2018 with a trip to Paris with @Gambitsky and Olav, which I'm currently working on a little "weekend guide" for at the moment.

Later this year, I will be travelling to Amsterdam for Easter, and then London in August. I'm super excited because I've never been to Amsterdam before, and I've heard it's such a beautiful city. And London’s always a great city to visit. You know I love London.
