Since New Year's, I've been using some new products and while some have been a miss, here's a list over the ones that I've fallen in love with!

If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen me feature this on my story; Emma S Moisturising Facial Mist. It smells delicious and I use it underneath a cream moisturiser (I use Garnier's SkinActive Botanical Day Cream with Green Tea) for extra moisture during these cold, windy and dry days.

I spray a couple sprays on my face and as it's drying, I apply the extra layer of cream moisturiser. I find it works well together, but as a stand-alone, the spray would be too light for my skin type. This is, however, good for a touch-up throughout the day. My aunt keeps a small bottle of this facial mist in her purse at all times.

Next is a makeup remover from a Korean skincare brand called Heimish. The All Clean Balm is, as the name suggests, a balm that melts your make up off. In the package, there's a small spatula that you use to scoop out a bit of the balm and warm it up slightly in your hands before rubbing it gently on your face. As I usually wear waterproof makeup, I might need to go in a second time in order to remove everything, but on lighter days, a round of this is enough to leave my face fresh and clean.

Honestly, I'm a lazy person, so this is usually where I end my night routine, but if I feel like I need an extra good cleanse, I use Sum:37's Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick (more on this in a skincare routine later), with my LUNA Play from Foreo.

This month I finally invested in some new brushes. I think I've been using the same brush since High School and it was about time I changed it. I invested in some new face brushes from EcoTools, and, holy shit, they are the softest brushes I've ever used. I bought the Define & Highlight Duo and the Powder Brush after seeing Claire Marshall use it in a video. They are so soft that I look forward to doing my makeup every morning.

I've been using the Highlighter brush together with the Maybelline Chrome Highlighter, which I've been obsessed with ever since I bought it. I did also mention it when I did the romantic makeup look for Valentine's Day (here ).

Lastly, I bought the Total Temptation Mascara after hearing all the hype around it, and maybe I was lucky, but it works so perfectly with my lashes and I love it so much. I bought the waterproof version, of course, and while it holds my curls, the only complain I have is that it kinda smudges throughout the day. This isn't something I notice too often, but it happens a bit, just to let you know. But it is still a good enough product for me to love it despite its flaws. Did I also mention that it smells good? I can't pinpoint it, but I love it.
